ORIGYN and UEFA Foundation for Children Launch ‘NFTs for Good’

ORIGYN and UEFA Foundation for Children have partnered together to launch ‘NFTs for Good’, as they’re calling them. These NFTs are a part of ORIGYN’s initiative with the same name. In detail, they will be creating one-of-a-kind football collectibles. Which will start from the referee’s coin from the EURO 2020 Final between England and Italy. Auctioned together will be a physical and corresponding digital twin NFT.ORIGYN and UEFA are working on an NFT together.About the ORIGYN and UEFA collectionORIGYN, a Swiss non-profit foundation that aims to unlock the powers of rights for objects of value, have revealed their work with UEFA Foundation for Children.As a key part of the charity’s ‘NFTs for Good’ initiative, ORIGYN and UEFA will create a limited collection of physical collectibles. A related digital one will be created for each of the one-of-a-kind memorabilia, including one of the toss coins that was used in the Euro 2020 Championship Final between England and Italy.Basically, UEFA Foundation of Children’s General Secretary, Urs Kluser spoke on the collab. They said: “We are thrilled to partner with ORIGYN to bring these important items to the world stage. For the benefit of The UEFA Foundation for Children, we share a united vision of leveraging next-generation technology such as NFTs to raise money for children and world citizens across the globe. There is no better collective mission.”Also, Bill Ackman and Paris Hilton backed the collection. To clarify, this was as ORIGYN recently raised a round of funding worth $20 million.What is ORIGYN?ORIGYN is a platform that ties digital certificates to the world’s most valuable physical relics. These digital twins are non-fungible, unique and, in many cases, tied to a connected physical object. Moreover,  minted by ORIGYN will be the UEFA coin into a digital twin NFT and auctioned off jointly.
