Tips for project collaborations

Hey NFT community!

About a month ago I entered a position with a GameFi startup managing partnerships. The project had its first sale this past November and is having a second next month. This is the first of my work in the web3 space aside from investing, and I could really use some advice.

The project had a Twitter following of 16k but made a new one and purged the D\*scord of 40k of all bots as well. The new Twitter is at 4k followers and D\*scord at 1.5-2k. I scroll through Twitter and see projects with a following of 5-10K collabing with ones who have followings of 90K+. I can’t even get communities of 15K to respond to me and would like to know what I’m doing wrong.

I cold DM projects on Twitter and will include some examples of how I reach out below, and I also join the D\*scord and request to speak to someone regarding a collab. The project is legit, has had a dedicated following since the team released their first coin a year ago, and has shown development examples. What more can I do?

” Hey, I manage partnerships for \_\_\_\_\_ and I’d like to ask if you all would be interested in a collab?”

” Yo I work community outreach for a GameFi project, \_\_\_\_\_\_, and we just recently announced our wh\*telist and are looking for partners. Is this something you all would be interested in?”

” Hey \_\_\_\_\_, I work for a GameFi startup named \_\_\_\_\_ and am wondering if you’d be interested in guest speaking at our Twitter Space next weekend”

When I first started this position I was definitely being too formal. I’ve changed my approach a bit to be a little more personal, but am still having little success. I appreciate any critique you all can provide.
