Don Diablo, the groundbreaking digital artist, is launching an impressive outdoor NFT sculpture. Working in collaboration with world-class destination K11 Musea and art auction house Sotheby’s, this is a unique and innovative art installation. The giant structure, a ‘phygital’ (physical-meets-digital) artwork, provides a portal into the metaverse.
Officially HΞXAVΞRSΞ, it will tour the world and bridge the gap between the physical world and the metaverse.
NFT sculpture is the latest piece of innovative art by Don Diablo
The amazing sculpture has the shape of two back-to-back futuristic doors. Both open into a metaverse environment, embedded into the digital art installation as videos. The videos will feature Don Diablo’s ‘metahuman’ avatar.
Fully controllable remotely, the NFT sculpture offers an accurate view of the metaverse Don Diable has created. Moreover, it will change over time as more digital content is added to the work.
In a tweet to his followers about the NFT sculpture, Don Diablo said, “Proud to present HΞXAVΞRSΞ (2022), my first physical meets digital outdoor art sculpture (2/2) in Hong Kong and Shanghai in collaboration with @K11Musea and @Sothebys. A door to the FUTURΞ, a portal to a new world on public view in two iconic locations!”
HΞXAVΞRSE will travel the world!
Initially, two versions of the beautiful artwork will go on display until November. Significantly, they will live in two separate locations. One on the Promenade overlooking Victoria Harbour at K11 Musea in Hong Kong, the other in K11 Shanghai.
Finally, there are plans for a global tour of the mindblowing NFT sculpture by Don Diablo for next year. New York is already on the schedule for 2023.
