MoonPay CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright, today announced the launch of a new NFT platform, called HyperMint. The platform will help large companies, brands, and creative agencies create and mint NFTs. HyperMint’s launch partners include Fox Corporation, Universal Pictures, Selfridges, and music producer Timbaland’s Beatclub, to name a few. So let’s dive right in: What is Moonpay’s new NFT platform, HyperMint all about?
What is HyperMint, Moonpay’s New NFT Platform?
Moonpay’s HyperMint is a “self-service, developer-focused platform” that allows companies, brands, and creative agencies to easily create, mint, and manage utility NFTs. Essentially, the platform aims to evolve the infrastructure of Web3.
To explain, currently, it is difficult to scale the creation, management, and sale of NFTs across the globe. Hence, more often than not, brands and companies have been facing difficulties to develop their Web3 strategy. HyperMint aims to solve these issues.
Moonpay CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright, announced the new platform during the NFT.NYC conference. He was giving a keynote address at Radio City Music Hall.
“Utility NFTs are going to go way beyond collectibles and towards real-world functionality,” the MoonPay CEO said. “They will help companies, brands, and creative agencies move from using targeted advertising to reach customers to one based around long-term ownership, engagement, and authenticity. And MoonPay’s HyperMint is the enterprise-level infrastructure that will make that monumental shift possible.”
What Does HyperMint Offer?
Moonpay’s HyperMint allows companies, brands, and more to connect with users and monetize IPs. Apparently, they can mint hundreds of millions of utility NFTs in a day. Furthermore, the platform claims to bring down the go-to-market times from around six months to a couple of days. Finally, a handful of people will manage the entire process through a tested solution.
To launch HyperMint, Moonpay partnered with several big names in the entertainment, music, fashion, and gaming industries. For instance, in partnership with Beatclub, the platform will produce NFTs with added utilities.
“Today’s biggest names, like J. Cole, Mike Dean, and Justin Timberlake, have signed onto our vision and know that Beatclub and HyperMint are where the future of ownership, engagement, and trust is headed,” said Timbaland.
Meanwhile, Universal Pictures will use utility NFTs to foster customer engagement. On the other hand, The Fox Corporation will use HyperMint for its future Web3 development efforts. Selfridges, the British luxury department store, is already releasing NFTs with HyperMint to celebrate artist Victor Vasarely.
