What is the MoonPay NFT concierge service?

Essentially, it is a platform for celebrities and high net worth individuals. When the company launched the service last year, they called it “a white-glove service for high net worth individuals who want to purchase NFTs in the simplest way without all the hassle of setting up a wallet, buying crypto, using that crypto to purchase an NFT and then taking custody of it.”

The MoonPay NFT concierge service will allow these individuals to purchase NFTs and crypto without the hassle. Basically, MoonPay takes complete control from start to finish of the buying process. However, it is not available for everyone. At the current time, the concierge is “by referral only”, which only adds to the prestige of the service.

Celebrity endorsement is key to MoonPay service success

The two new hires for this massive project are the former associate director at Standard Chartered Bank, Charlotte Laborde and Justin Johnson; the former creator partnerships lead for North America at Meta. Together, along with others, they will drive the NFT concierge service forward and promote it to the right people.

Notable celebrities have already been highly vocal about the MoonPay NFT concierge service. Jimmy Fallon has publically discussed his NFT purchases using MoonPay twice on his TV show. Along with this, rapper Post Malone and music legend Madonna, have also used the service.

Finally, in April, during the latest round of funding, celebrities rushed to join in on the action. In total, it raised $87 million and saw investment from celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber and others.
