They keep making copy paste games that are full of micro transactions/monetization. They always release unfinished/buggy games as well and they’ve downgraded multiple games. They also have a history of mistreating employees.
I cam keep going on and on but I think most of you already know how bad UbiSoft is and how much its hated in and out of the crypto community.
The only good thing that would come from this is that it might inspire more qualified game development companies to enter the GameFi market.
And trust me this is exactly what we need. Right now there arent many good NFT games. I think something like Mecha Morphing has a lot of potential considering how much they focus on game mechanics and graphics without compromising the profits it generates but for the most part almost all NFT games are just copies of Axie Infinity now.
I don’t think UbiSoft will stop its expansion into the GameFi scene but like I said, if it means that we’ll be getting more development companies to enter the market then at least we’ll get one good thing out of this.
