Chris: Hi there! Please introduce yourself.
Ken: Hello, I’m Ken, the person-in-charge of the Shiny Girl Card project. After mutiple successes with gaming and blockchain projects, I had the privilege of encountering the Cum & Gun development team, of whom I’ve long been a fan. Out of personal appreciation of the Girls as well as admiration for the development team, I voiced the idea of turning the Girls into NFTs, so that they can be forever preserved in the social community’s collection. We hit it off right away. There is another blockchain expert, Jason, on our team, who possesses rich experience in the blockchain field. He is well-informed on the current market’s take on NFTs. After thorough deliberation about the project’s aim (Girl-centered, community-based), he managed to develop the most unique features of our NFT — the Value Guarantee and Perpetual Appreciation systems. KR is a team member in charge of social management and marketing, who’s not only skilled and rich in experience, but also an expert at planning.
Chris: You guarantee money back to the investors in secondary sales. This is interesting. What exactly is the Smart Contract Account? How does it operate?
Ken: The Smart Contract account refers to an automatically generated contract address account that occurs when the contract is created.
In the past, after an NFT item has been purchased, the project party is free to withdraw the amount paid by users at purchase as a form of revenue.
However, in the Value Guarantee system we have designed, we will retain the amount paid by users when they purchase Shiny Girl Card (SGC) in a Smart Contract account, from which we cannot withdraw money.
The purchase cost of a SGC is retained in the Smart Contract account. Not even we can withdraw money from that account.
SGC owners can choose to Burn the SGC to perform a value redemption. The Value Guarantee system will distribute evenly according to the total remaining SGC and the amount in the Smart Contract Account. The largest feature about the system is that it can utilize the nature of the blockchain to perpetually guarantee the value of the SGC. No one apart from the actual owners of the Cards, not even us (the project party), can get a hold of them!
The SGC also cannot be Minted freely by the project party, which ensures the Value Guarantee amount for the users.
Besides designing the Value Guarantee system, we also came up with a Perpetual Appreciation system that enables the SGC to grow automatically over time! We return the transaction fee paid by users in the Secondary Market into the Smart Contract account. Coupled with the Value Guarantee system, the SGC will grow in value over every purchase performed by users. The amount obtainable at value exchange will increase continuously!
Chris: The Shiny Girls originated from an NFT game. What were the inspirations to create a whole new series of NFTs altogether?
Ken: The characters on the Shiny Girl Cards are based on 8 hottest characters from the popular online game — Cum & Gun, chosen by popularity vote. Most NFT projects nowadays come up with the NFT first, before game development. Due to a usually long process of game development, the NFTs often experience a decrease in Secondary Market price. There are many doubts as to whether a game can be completed on time, which put game developers in a difficult place.
We chose an opposite approach. Making NFTs out of an ongoing game, coupled with the Value Guarantee system, ensure that the NFT will not decrease in price. The game that makes use of the NFT is also already complete, which we believe will give the public a sense of safety and confidence in the project!
Chris: So, what do the tokens look like? Can these NFTs also participate in the game?
Ken: SGC are designed for 8 Girls from Cum & Gun. Every Girl has her own unique Skin and accessories, hair color, as well as lively expressions, and mesmerizing card frames. Every SGC will be a unique design combination.
SGC owners can dress up the Girls in the game in the skins as per the Cards’ designs. We also plan to create an AR world, in which SGC owners can spend more time with the Girls, and even enjoy more intimate interaction!
Chris: Additionally, what will be the dressing-up feature? Is there anything else that the token is used as?
Ken: The costume design on the SGC are actual in-game Skins that can be worn by the Girls. This means that the more Skins onSGC are collected, the more choices of Skins will be available for the Girls.
In the future, we have plans to create an AR world, to provide Shiny Girl Card owners with more personal time with the Girls.
Chris: Consequently, how much will be the cost of 1 token? How much of the cost accounts for gas?
Ken: We use the ERC-721A contract for the SGC, which largely reduce the Gas Fee in Minting. The Gas Fee will be akin to the ERC-721A.
We are planning for the price of the SGC to fall between 0.1ETH~0.2ETH. We will also be coming up with SGC NFT Packs, which means that more SGC purchased in one sitting will grant a higher discount for the price of each Card.
Chris: What is next on the team’s roadmap? How does Shiny Girls token want to accentuate user experience in the coming 6 months?
Ken: We are currently working hard to perfect the SGC and to realize the Roadmap. One important feature of the SGC is the function to bring Skins into the game, for which we are developing the relevant system support, which we believe will be completed soon. There are also plans in motion for physical products related to the SGC. Please stay tuned for the exciting updates from SGC!
Chris: In the end, what is your outlook on a new series to add to the existing collection of the Shiny Girls? Are there any plans for a new NFT collection?
Ken: The current SGC are designed based on the 8 Girls chosen by a popularity vote held amongst the players in our social community on the official website. There was neck-to-neck competition among the girls at the time. Even though some Girls did not make it to the top 8, many users in our social community are still their avid supporters. Besides, there has been new addition to the Cum & Gun Girls after the vote was launched. These new Girls enjoy a great support among our social community as well. There are also hopes for these Girls to be made into NFTs. We will prioritize the first stage of our NFT project, and make more informed decisions on possible future projects based on the feedback we receive from the social platforms, and from our first batch of SGC users. So if you like these Girls, are interested in our Value Guarantee and Appreciation systems, or hope to see more projects, please visit our official website, Twitter, Discord and Facebook page for the latest information. Don’t miss our SGC project!
