The Decentral Art Pavilion continues to surprise us with more amazing pieces. This time, Vogue Portugal will be auctioning three of their emblematic covers as NFTs. The selected Vogue covers include: “Iconic”, “Freedom on Hold”, and “Fairytale”.

If you visit the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice before June 20th, 2022, you will see these three Vogue covers in the Singularity exhibition. Two of them have a reserve price of 1.5 ETH, while the “Freedom on Hold” cover has a reserve price of 3.0 ETH. At the time of writing, there are still no active offers for the covers.
Interestingly, Lighthouse Publishing chose these covers due to their respective significance to the Vogue brand. Firstly, the “Iconic” issue marked the relaunch of Vogue Portugal back in October 2017.
On the other hand, the “Freedom on Hold” cover will remain a timeless landmark for an era when social rules took a massive turn. The issue was published back in April 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic hit most of the world, causing a massive lockdown. This cover was printed and reprinted 3 times, all selling out in a blink of an eye.
Whereas the “Fairytale” cover is the latest Vogue Portugal issue. The important message behind this issue is that it is always possible to believe in magic, even though the world is not a fairytale. An important reminder in a world full of negativity today.
