Well, Meet Sentimentio: The project aiming to do just that!
What do happiness, fear, anger, sadness, or surprise look like?
How can these feelings be attributed to an artistic script?
How does the passing of time alter their visual reflection?
What is Sentimentio?
Sentimentio uses machine learning to analyse written content from online sources over time. Plus, it determines and extracts human sentiment in the process. To illustrate, each sentiment affects specific colours, brush strokes, axes, depths, gradients, dimensions, and designs of the resulting art form. Then, Sentimentio transcribes these sentiments to create unique artistic compositions.
The NFT Collection capturing sentiments about COVID-19
Our first collection ‘’730 Days..Flattening the curve’’ will include a unique and limited collection of 730 generative and dynamic artworks. The concept behind them? To capture the sentiments of humanity’s period during the 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
No modern-day societal issue has had as much impact on the world as COVID-19. From the days of ignorance and disbelief to the days of fear, patience, and hope.
Even though we understand that moving away from all of that will forever be a marker in humanity’s history, as time moves forward, it will no longer be eroded by the negative impact that it entails. However, it will also signify – in the future – a point of survival, of lessons learned, and of humanity as a whole moving on as one.
In short, we analyzed millions of data sources, from the first 730 days of the COVID pandemic.
Thus, for this collection, our traits derive from important aspects from the COVID era. Firstly, they are concentrating on people’s emotions and sentiments.
