OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace, is having a major update on its UI. An official blog post revealed that starting today, Opensea takes the first step in elevating its UI design for the benefit of its users.
Why OpenSea is Updating their User Interface
It’s not a secret that Opensea faced its own set of problems this year. Its official Discord server was hacked and it recorded its lowest 24-hour sale in the same month. Thankfully, the platform is stepping up to provide its users with a better service.
Two weeks ago, it announced that it will roll out some features that will detect fake NFTs. And just today, its UI is having an upgrade. According to the announcement, the goal of the update is to put more focus on Opensea’s community content. Basically, simplifying and making room for richer experiences for the OpenSea community.
In addition, the platform is also working on upgrades to its technical stack. The upgrade will make everyone’s OpenSea experience quicker and more responsive, the post said.
What Changes Can You Expect on OpenSea’s UI?
On its first UI update, the changes are focused on the look and feel of profiles and collections within the platform.
For the profile pages, OpenSea said the goal is to give its users more opportunities to highlight their favorite content. Additionally, make it easier for them to navigate their collections, favorites, and more.
Regarding the update with the collection pages, OpenSea made it easier for users to find and browse NFTs from their favorite creators. They can access any other NFTs a creator has made directly from their collection. This makes it easier for collectors to discover new content from creators they like.
Lastly, Opensea said these new UI updates are only the beginning of more changes that the platform will release in the coming weeks.
