The Australian indie-rock band Boy & Bear is launching its NFT collection in collaboration with Amex (American Express). As the collection name “Back The Night” suggests, its involvement in American Express’ Back The Night music festival this Sunday.

The new NFT collection by Boy & Bear Band brings a range of exclusive digital artworks to life. Furthermore, holders will get exclusive access to experiences and merchandise from the American Express Back The Night.
In fact, 70% of the initial NFT sales proceeds will go to the Support Act. It will use the funds to support the music industry recover from the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, these are in addition to the 100% of Back The Night ticket sales going directly to the Support Act.
Meanwhile, the NFTs feature artwork resembling the art from the band’s latest single, “State of Flight.” Further, the collection contains three tiers of NFTs, including Blue, Gold, and Platinum versions.
The Blue versions are $15 apiece, and the Gold versions are $200 apiece. Also, the 1/1 Platinum version is on auction until 10 PM BST on May 26th.
Moreover, the band has opted for the carbon-neutral Fanaply NFT marketplace for positive feedback on launch.
“We’ve experienced how badly the Aussie music industry has been hit over the last couple of years and having the opportunity to create our own NFTs and provide some awesome experiences with American Express for our fans, all in a way that tangibly gives back to Support Act – feels great,” the Boy & Bear Band said in a statement about the inaugural NFT launch.
