Way before May 19-May 22, VeeCon 2022 was highly anticipated among NFT enthusiasts around the globe. Overall, the highly exclusive event was a huge success. Here are the top 10 unforgettable moments during VeeCon 2022.

On the second day of VeeCon 2022, VeeFriend enthusiast @paul_heyne asked for his girlfriend’s hand in marriage. As with all happy endings, she said YES! Gary Vee and the crowd celebrated together with the happy couple, filling the entire U.S. Bank Stadium with overflowing joy.
Building with K Money
The NFT community will remember the word ‘BUILDING’ for a while, thanks to K Money. Watch this video and you’ll immediately get what I mean.
Meeting the VeeCon legend himself, Gary Vee!
Well of course meeting Gary Vee is on this list. Aside from being an avid NFT advocate, Gary Vaynerchuk is also a successful entrepreneur, author, speaker, and Internet personality. This VeeCon 2022 moment certainly feels like meeting your hero IRL!
Fancy dancing with a Bored Ape?
Your basic jpegs can now come to life with @immi_io. Bored Ape 1398 was seen running around VeeCon 2022, networking, dancing, and chilling with the conference participants. Dancing with a Bored Ape was certainly a first for many of us.
How about Salem Ilese’s ‘Crypto Boy’?
American singer-songwriter Salem Ilese hyped up the crowd with her ‘Crypto Boy’ single. The song is super catchy and I’m sure we can all relate to the song. By the way, Crypto Boy NFTs are dropping today! All the proceeds from this sale will go to the Center for Reproductive Rights to advance reproductive rights as fundamental human rights around the world.
Meeting Betty!
Super excited to meet Deadfellaz’ Betty, the Horde Mother herself! The Deadfellaz booth was one of the hottest booths in VeeCon 2022. Betty stopped by to sign some merch and say hi to the community. She also had a slot on the Polaris stage during the conference.
The latest Beeple artwork
Ask anyone, one of the most unforgettable VeeCon 2022 moments will surely include this. So Steve Aoki brings Beeple to center stage with a huge cake in his hand. Then, he gets a running start for about 10m and absolutely cakes Beeple in the face. Not sure why Beeple agreed to this, but props to the man!
Painting with FEWOCiOUS
Victor, or @fewocious is a 19 year old artist that is making waves in the NFT space. His artwork is an absolute hit among art collectors, investors, and the NFT community in general. During VeeCon 2022, many joined him in his paint parties, creating art together IRL. Do check out FewoWorld too! I promise you won’t regret it.
The other side of Gary Vee
Gary Vee broke out some dance moves on the stage with Wyclef Jean. Hats off to the man, truly a man of many talents. Here’s a short clip of the dance. If you don’t like his dance moves, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t care.
Countless amazing stage performances
Throughout VeeCon 2022, there were so many awesome stage performances lined up for the participants. During the first day, there were performances by Adrian Be, Lulú, Millie Go Lightly and TLC. Day 2 saw Garzi, Lian Faz, Immasoul, Lil Polo Tee, and Miguel. There were also many other performances happening in between various activities and panels.
All in all, this event is one of a kind and the first of its kind. So many people learned so many things in just a few short days. We certainly feel that Web2 took a step closer as a whole towards Web3. No turning back now guys!
