Why: Renowned digital artist Filip Hodas is set to return to Nifty Gateway for a follow-up to his November 2021 Monumental Living collection. This latest collection explores a dystopian future where monuments were colonized and turned into community housing.
Chaos VIII

Why: With the Chaos collection, Swiss-born contemporary artist Urs Fischer is planning to pair 1,000 renders of digital objects with each other, creating 500 unique, one-of-one ‘visual conversations.’ In the press release, Fischer states that each visual conversation in the project centers around “manufactured objects and the roles they’ve played throughout our cultural history.” The 501st piece is slated to be a collage of all the works combined into one truly chaotic work of art.

Why: Electronic dance music legend Ferry Corsten is entering the NFT space with his ‘Ferry Corsten Presents What the F’ drop. It features NFT collectibles ranging from pieces of music from his two-decade career, as well as digitized versions of some of the most important pieces of hardware in his music-making kit. These include a limited edition NFT of the keyboard that kickstarted his career, as well as a free drop of a Roland TR-303 NFT.

Why: Renowned Vancouver street artist iHeart is making his NFT debut with the Feedback Loop collection. This digital art collection is set to feature pieces that comment on how the lines between the digital and physical realms get blurrier by the day. One of the pieces in this collection, entitled “Hollowgram,” is a collection of programmable digital paintings which feature a smart contract that communicates with a 24-hour clock and changes the artwork over time.
