Popular FlowerGirls artist Varvara Alay is releasing her latest NFT collection, Birds of Sōlis on Snowcrash. Also, she has dedicated the collection to reimagining the Audubon birds along with her artistry.
Varvara’s Latest Collection – Birds of Sōlis
Varvara Alay is an international, award-winning graphic designer and illustrator. Furthermore, her art celebrates the beauty and magic of the world’s most beloved birds and flowers.
Meanwhile, Varvara’s latest NFT work, Birds of Sōlis, is a collaborative project that takes inspiration from Audubon’s “Birds of America.” Furthermore, the release is on May 26, 2022, at 10 am PST, while the pre-sale is on May 25. Moreover, to honor the inspiration behind the art, Birds of Sōlis will make donations to Nia Tero.
Varvara explains, “I call them my muses. Birds feature prominently in my artwork – from my pieces on Foundation and SuperRare to my Flower Girls collection, Birds of Sōlis is dedicated to reimagining the Audubon birds and applying my artistry to the limitless creative possibilities offered by NFTs.”
Moreover, Varvara chose to mint Birds of Sōlis on the Solana blockchain, the most environmentally friendly minting solution.
In fact, Birds of Sōlis is the first drop on the new NFT platform Snowcrash. Furthermore, Snowcrash launched the platform in partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG) and Sony Music Entertainment (SME) in March 2022.
Varvara’s FlowerGirls was the first female-led fine art NFT collection. Furthermore, after its launch in December 2021, the collection sold out in just 30 minutes. Moreover, Varvara donated 20% of the profits to children’s charities, and spent 5% collecting children’s NFT art.
