Top NFT collectibles, World Of Women has hired Shannon Snow as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Shannon boasts a wealth of experience in the tech field and has previously worked with Google and Meta. World of Women’s founder, Yam Karkai, took to Twitter on Saturday, May 14, to announce the big news.
“Could not be more excited to join Yam and the incredible World of Women team,” Shannon tweeted. “Let’s make history together!”
Who is Shannon Snow, World Of Women’s New COO?
A tech executive and angel investor, Shannon Snow graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from Stanford University.
She worked at Google for over a decade, growing and leading business-facing teams. While at Google, she also launched a clothing brand, taking inspiration from the businesswomen she came across.
Later, she joined Meta and continues there as the Director of the Entertainment department. Previously, she also helped the tech giant to build the Disruptors group, which helps innovative venture-backed startups to build their business.
Sharing the news of Shannon Snow joining the WoW team, Yam tweeted, “I am beyond excited to introduce @worldofwomennft’s new COO Shannon Snow.”
Today, Shannon will also join a special edition of The Time Is WoW. This will be a great opportunity for the community and WoW fans to hear about Shannon’s journey and her vision for WoW, directly from her.
World of Women’s latest COO hire once again signals that the project has big plans for the future. Earlier this year, WoW also onboarded women and climate rights activist, Inna Modja as its new Philanthropy Advisor.
