Chocolate brand Cadbury Gems has partnered with NFT ecosystem company GuardianLink to drop an NFT collection. Notably, the NFTs feature artworks drawn by kids across India. Moreover, the chocolatier has collaborated with the non-governmental organisation, Save The Children, to use the funds from the NFT sales towards the education of underprivileged children.

What is the Cadbury Gems NFT Collection?
The much-loved chocolatier, Cadbury Gems has forayed into the NFT space with its Junior NFT campaign. Starting this month, the brand will invite parents to upload their children’s art on its website. Then, Cadbury Gems will curate an online gallery featuring the NFTs, which collectors can buy from GuardianLink.
The funds from the campaign will support the NGO, Save The Children in its efforts to educate underprivileged children. The organisation focuses on getting children back to school, buying them necessary educational material, and more.
“This campaign launched by Mondelez holds value for us since both education and psychosocial support are considered critical areas of Save the Children’s programmes,” said Yasmin Riaz. Riaz is the director, Resource Mobilisation for Save the Children, India. “The activity aims to give children a sense of wellbeing, and inspire them to contribute towards securing rights of children from communities.”
