Blockchain gaming pioneer, Gala Games, has partnered with real-time content specialist, Unity Technologies, putting their respective massive brains together to develop the all immersive VOXverse.
Through this new alliance, Gala and Unity have entered into an incredible $20 million professional services deal to enable production on an ambitious real-time 3D platform to incorporate Gala’s Vox range of digital collectibles. Going forward, the team will work together with Sim City creator, Will Wright, and his experienced Gallium Studios, leveraging their collective might to create a voxelized wonderland of unparalleled opulence.
Inside the fantastical new realm, users will take part in a deeply social gaming environment. In essence, taking the form of a Minecraft-inspired expansive environment, one which will in due course absorb many of the games associated with the VOX universe. This will include the likes of MMORPG, Mirandus, the Walking Dead franchise, and much more.

According to reports, VOXverse avatars look set to evolve based on their gaming experiences. Therefore, carrying a memory of their virtual escapades that will bleed into the character’s personalities. To get this innovative ball rolling, the team will launch VOX Souls later in the month which will help mould the in-metaverse characteristics.
