Deadmau5’s new music metaverse gaming platform PIXELYNX just revealed the name of its first mobile game – ELYNXIR. Also, WØRKS’ award-winning creative director Joe Perez has done the branding for the upcoming blockchain game.
PIXELYNX’s Upcoming Mobile Game – ELYNXIR
Yesterday, PIXELYNX CEO Inder Phull announced ELYNXIR at the San Francisco Niantic Lightship Summit in a room full of AR developers and executives. In addition, Niantic Ventures also announced investing in PIXELYNX at the summit.
Moreover, PIXELYNX invited Niantic Lightship Summit attendees to play a demo version of ELYNXIR. The upcoming game uses Niantic‘s patented AR Lightship Visual Positioning System technology for a music-focused gaming experience.
In fact, ELYNXIR is using the same technology used in Niantic’s hit mobile game, Pokemon Go! However, ELYNXIR is currently in beta, and PIXELYNX plans on releasing the entire game in August.
“ELYNXIR introduces an entirely new level of creative immersion and gameplay in the music metaverse. It’s a world built on the premise that artists and fans want fun and exciting new ways to interact and drive culture together,” Inder Phull stated.
“We knew that collaborating with Joe and his team at WØRKS, with all of their experience creating iconic album art and merch for artists and campaigns for fashion brands, was key to helping us bring our vision to life and to music fans everywhere.”
Meanwhile, WØRKS is an award-winning multidisciplinary design studio in NYC, with Joe Perez as a partner and creative director. In fact, Joe’s iconic style perfectly reflects his graphic design and filmmaking background. Previously, WØRKS has collaborated with Fear of God, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Jordan, Versace, Kanye West, Beyoncé, and many more.
