The Otherside land claim for BAYC and MAYC NFT holders is finally closed. Now it’s time to talk about the first tech demo of the Otherside. According to the team, The First Trip will happen this summer on July 16th. So Voyagers, are you ready?
What can we expect from the first tech demo of the Otherside?
To those who don’t know, the Otherside is an open-world meta RPG by Yuga Labs, the creators behind the BAYC NFT collection. The team first launched the project on April 30th and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the game to release.
To begin with, players will take on the role of Voyagers exploring the part galaxy and part archipelago open world. However, the demo is only available to those who hold an Otherdeed land NFT. According to the team, Voyagers will get to explore, gather, and plan their strategies during the game demo of The Otherside.
As of now, Yuga hasn’t disclosed much about the gameplay mechanics. Hopefully, the team will reveal more details by then. If not, we will have to count on the Otherdeed holders to drop us more clues after the Otherside demo.
Can I play the Otherside for free?
Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether we can play The Otherside for free in the future. As of now, the game demo is only available to land NFT owners. However, it is more likely than not that the Alpha and Beta versions of the game will be open to NFT holders only.
