Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg partnered with EDM pioneer Steve Aoki to create Alpha Doggz and announce their NFT EP. Furthermore, the duo will exclusively release the project on Gala Music on May 23, partnering with the hip-hop label Death Row Records.
Snoop Dogg x Steve Aoki Collab
Steve Aoki and Snoop Dogg have partnered up to create a new Alpha Doggz. The last three tracks of the EP “Da Da,” “Girls,” and “How I Do It,” are scheduled for May 23.
Moreover, Gala Music x Snoop Stash Box holders will receive the exclusive Da Da song “Super Freak” featuring October London. Also, the duo will airdrop the “Holy Grail” single to A0K1VERSE Passport holders.
Meanwhile, “Da Da” and “Holy Grail” are classic club bangers by Steve Aoki. Further, “Girls” and “How I Do It” are some laid-back grooves by Snoop Dogg.
In fact, this cross-genre project is Gala Music’s first project, which it launched in February 2022. Furthermore, Gala Music has already partnered with many internationally recognized artists from various genres.
After acquiring Death Row Records in February, Snoop Dogg became a hot topic in both music and NFT space. In fact, he even said that Gala Music would be the only place for Death Row Records in the Metaverse.
In a Gala Music-hosted AMA session in March, Snoop Dogg said, “We plan on giving people access to buying and trading some of these classic songs, classic records that were the foundation of Death Row.”
