The Farrah Fawcett Foundation and MORE Management revealed the sale of NFTs based on the iconic red bathing suit poster. Furthermore, the highly anticipated NFT sale will be live on their official website through May 23, 2022.
Farrah Fawcett’s Red Bathing Suit NFTs
Farrah Fawcett’s legacy is coming back for us in digital form. On the late actress’ 75th birthday, The Farrah Fawcett Foundation revealed its plan to release a limited edition NFT collection.
Meanwhile, the poster is a famous pin-up shot from 1976 showing the “Charlie’s Angels” actress posing in a bathing suit. In fact, the poster went on to sell over 12 million copies.
Furthermore, the auction’s highlight is a 1 of 1 “Farrah Gold Edition,” which is a re-imagination of the famous red bathing suit poster.
Also, the “Farrah Gold Edition” auction winner can spend a weekend at Resorts World in Las Vegas. In addition, the rewards also include a museum-grade digital canvas to display the NFT.
There are five editions up for sale, 222 pieces in total with different levels of rarity. In addition, an open edition NFT “Always Farrah” will be up for sale at $300 only through the auction period.
In fact, profits from the NFT sale will go towards Farrah Fawcett’s non-profit organization. Further, her organization supports HPV-related cancer research, patient assistance, and prevention efforts.
Finally, accomplished NFT artist Elise Swopes created the NFTs. Moreover, she has a successful history in NFTs offerings and was pleased to work with the Farrah Fawcett Foundation.
