All You Need To Know About The Lazy Lions NFT Collection

The Lazy Lions NFT collection is a unique collection of 10k lions, programmatically generated from over 160 possible traits. This includes various clothing, manes, expressions, and more. With the Lazy Cubs coming along the journey this month, here’s all you need to know about this collection.

So what’s roaring on the Lazy Lions Private Island?

The Lazy Lions released in Fall 2021, sold out in 5 hours, and have seen many successful collaborations. Surely, there’s something about it right? At the time of writing, the NFTs have a floor price of 0.8 ETH, with a trading volume of 28.9k ETH. There are 5.1k lion owners, but the overall community is insanely huge, reaching 200k members soon. This community includes the likes of Jake Paul, John Terry, Seth Curry, and many other celebrities.

Blockchain Media PTY LTD. is the team behind this project. The collection features a group of lions, known as kings and queens, roaming free on the Private Island. Since getting rich in the NFT space, they just chill on this secret island. There are drinks on the cabana bar, a gym, a shopping strip mall, spas, hammocks, and other cool stuff you want on a private island.

Lazy Lions holders received a Bungalow airdrop awhile back, and 1,500 additional bungalows were up for public sale. These are essentially social media banners for holders to showcase their lions and other NFTs.

Have you seen the Lazy Lions roadmap?

Clearly, there are a ton of stuff coming to the Private Island. The team did not release any details regarding the roadmap, except for this picture. If I were to make my best guess, here are the things that may come your way. After the NBA Sacramento Kings partnership, we are expecting more basketball-related collabs soon. Other partnerships that should see more action include the Coinbase and Chainlink partnerships.

With regards to the metaverse, lions should be able to chill in The Sandbox soon as the team continues to develop the land. We also see a DAO being introduced in the near future as the community expands rapidly.

Lazy Cubs incoming this month?

The team has reconfirmed that Lazy Cubs will release in May 2022. As we speak, they are still actively giving away allowlist spots through their Discord and other collaborations. All Lazy Lions holders will receive a free Lazy Cubs NFT, and the snapshot will be taken soon. The Bungalow owners that do not have a Lion will also get an allowlist spot to finally and officially enter the club.

There will be many more Cubs than Lions, so more people will get a chance to join in the family.
