It Remains, a brand new blockchain-powered graphic novel, dropped an NFT collection through an immersive NFT art exhibition in Dubai. The art exhibition, which took place on April 27 at Dubai’s Infinity des Lumieres, was curated by longtime Pixar art director Anthony Christov.
Entrepreneurs, collectors, investors and artists all gathered to experience this NFT art exhibition; which gave a sneak peek into the It Remains universe. In addition to the exhibition in Dubai, plans are underway to present this one-of-a-kind exhibition in various cities around the world. This also includes an exhibition at the upcoming World Economic Forum Summit.
About It Remains
“It Remains” is a graphic novel in the making. Written by author Vasil Tuchkov and drawn by digital artist Ed Mattinian, the beyond-dystopian novel explores the effects of the environmental crisis. Moreover, it also aims to revolutionise the way storytelling is distributed through different media.
Its NFT collection – “It Remains: RESISTERS” – consists of 7777 randomly generated, hand-drawn pieces from the setting of the graphic novel. Owning an It Remans NFT gives holders the right to control the future of the graphic novel. Other perks include receiving action figures, signed graphic novels as well as physical prints.
The official roadmap includes a DAO and DAO treasury partly funded by secondary NFT sales. Interestingly, the DAO will also focus on environmental and homeless causes; alongside metaverse integration, gamification, and P2E elements. This is because plans are already in place for an It Remains universe with games, an animated series, more exhibitions and so on.
It Remains is the latest in the line of industry-changing Web3 graphic novels. Other remarkable titles include Huxley, Heavy Metal Magazine and Bloodlines, to name just a few.
