New Frontier is among the latest companies to tap into NFTs with Enjin. The project will use Enjin’s tech solutions to connect real-life travel experiences and digital entertainment. In fact, New Frontier has already applied its vision to other real-life tourism brands around the world.
How does New Frontier & Enjin’s NFT concept work?
New Frontier offers hybrid travel experiences via NFTs. This process involves gamification, exclusive access to events, booking incentives, and more.
Basically, the company combines real-life experiences with virtual entertainment. For example, you can explore an island in real life and find valuable NFTs in the meantime. Not only does this initiative promote physical activity, but it also gives you long-term perks.
Surprisingly, New Frontier has already done such projects across the world. To illustrate, the Arran “Island Adventure” became more entertaining thanks to the company. Each NFT collector will be able to use their digital assets in the project’s upcoming Metaverse called Playbook.
At this moment, New Frontier collaborates with brands from Scotland, Spain, Mexico, and New Zealand.
“We aim to be a conduit to adoption for the rest of the Enjin ecosystem,” says New Frontier’s co-founder Graeme Stevens. “Tourism can unblock the issues seen in the gaming industry by showcasing the positive and engaging side of NFTs.”
How will the web3 tourism niche evolve?
Of course, a company as innovative as New Frontier has a great roadmap too. This season, the team will officially release its Tourism Metaverse Playbook with Enjin for Scotland.
In Q3 the company will launch a web3 tourism app to educate people on blockchain tech. Meanwhile, the team will drop $STAY – the Metaverse’s native token.
Obviously, New Frontier is just one of the new companies involved in web3 tourism. Last month, the giant Indian company MakeMyTrip dropped its debut NFT collection. The digital assets represent less-explored places in India in order to promote the country’s own tourism.
