I believe in the utility of NFTs. There however exists one question I have, if I mint an NFT of let’s say my dog, then someone takes the same image I just minted and mints it themselves. How do I prove mine is the original?

Yes I understand it’s on the blockchain forever, but what mechanism is in place to ensure it is known that your nft is the original. Like psa with baseball cards, I know my card is authentic since it has been encapsulated. I understand there is nothing to stop someone from copying, but how is that proven?
