NFT marketplace Autograph has announced a brand new campaign and coinciding NFT collection dubbed ‘The Future Is.’ On-brand with the Tom Brady-owned platform, the campaign is centred around young athletes who represent the next generation of American sporting excellence.
The five athletes featured in the campaign include WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, tennis prodigy Coco Gauff, golfer Collin Morikawa, LA Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, and Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns.
Each athlete will have their own three-piece NFT collection, with each digital asset being embedded with challenges that reward holders with exclusive access to activities which reflect the day-to-day passions of the athlete in question. Inline with the collection’s ‘next generation’ theme, all the NFT designs will be curated in collaboration with up-and-coming artists who reflect the cultural tastes of the athletes involved.
The inaugural ‘The Future Is…’ NFT collection will be based on Sabrina Ionescu, which’ll be available to view on the Autograph website, and be available to mint on the DraftKings NFT marketplace from 3PM ET on May 10th.
In speaking on the launch, Ionescu had this to say: “I’m so excited to be a part of the next era of digital collecting and the Web3 world alongside so many other amazing athletes. I want to make sure the next generation knows that there’s a place for them in Web3, and Autograph is helping to pave the way”.
