Rejoice, fans of 3Landers! You can now own a piece of the 3Landers Biomes, just by burning an Adventure Bag NFT. As part of the next phase of the adventure, these Biomes will serve as important access points for 3Landers to gather valuable resources in the future.

If you haven’t claimed your 3Landers Biome, no worries! The claim period will run for at least a week, starting from the 5th of May at 10 am EST. The best part is that you don’t even need to hold a 3Lander NFT to claim these Biomes. Read on to find out more!

What is the 3Landers NFT?

Firstly, we can’t talk about 3Landers Biomes without knowing what is the 3Landers NFT. In short, 3Landers is an NFT collection with 10,000 lovely characters living on the Ethereum blockchain. Each 3Lander is a brave adventurer in a fantasy world called 3Land. To sum up, there are 12 types of 3Landers: Human, Ape, 3L-Bot, Sealander, Spirit, Zombie, Golem, Cyborg, Alien, Devil, Meltie, and Bubble.

Since its launch in February this year, the project has found much success among the NFT community. At the time of writing, the collection has seen a total volume of 32k ETH changing hands already. Now, the team is ready to move on to the next phase of the project, by introducing the 3Landers Biomes.

What are the 3Landers Biomes?

In essence, 3Landers Biomes are hidden land NFTs in the farthest known area of 3Land. Although the exact quantity of these NFT lands is unknown, each Biome will contain a rich amount of natural resources. What’s more, these resources will be essential for 3Landers’ adventures in the future. And to get one of these Biomes, you will need to burn an Adventure Bag NFT.

How can I get one of the 3Landers Biomes?

As mentioned, you will need to burn an Adventure Bag NFT to claim one Biome. But, you do not need to hold any 3Lander NFT to burn the Adventure Bag. Starting from May 5th at 10 am EST, you will have more than one week’s time to claim these Biomes. Take note that the claiming process is happening right now on 3Landers’ official website.

Once done, you will receive an “unrevealed” version of the 3Landers Biome(s) in the form of an ERC-721 token. These Biomes will be under a new NFT collection called 3L-Biome, on both OpenSea and LooksRare. According to the team, the reveal date for Biomes will take place on May 7th at 10 am EST. After the reveal, you should be able to see the rarity rankings of these Biomes on TraitSniper.

What else do I need to take note of?

Nonetheless, there are a few more things to take note of when you’re claiming the 3Landers Biomes. According to the team, you MUST only use a Metamask wallet to burn the Adventure Bag. Plus, you can only burn up to 5 bags per transaction. Furthermore, if you missed the burning period, the remaining Adventure Bags will not have any utility afterward.

Although we don’t have any info on the rarity level of these Biomes, the 3Landers team did drop some clues. According to them, some of the exclusive lands may come with Minimons. But as to what these creatures are and what are the roles they play in 3Land, we shall wait for the team to reveal more in detail.

Why do I need a 3Lander + a Biome?

According to the team, Biomes will introduce a new utility for holders of 3Landers NFT in some ways. For those who wish to take part in the adventure, they will need to own at least one 3Lander and one Biome. Again, there are not many details from the team. But looking at the roadmap below, it seems that those with a full set of NFTs are up for some exciting times ahead.
