Can someone explain to be why the Bored Ape NFT, or World of Women NFTs, are exceedingly valuable right now?

Why is is that these particular NFTs (i’m sure there are more; these are the ones that just most regularly pop up on my feed) are selling for so much? Is it because were they one of the earliest NFT releases? The artwork itself contributes to the value…?
