Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we’ll be coming up with a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss.

Shirts for Ukraine

Why: Leeds United will be releasing a limited series of NFTs with the aim to raise funds for the Ukraine Humanitarian crisis. These limited NFTs will feature digital renditions of the exclusive “No War” shirts worn by players before a match against Manchester United and will each be digitally signed by the player.

Twisted Collaborations

Why: Digital artist and freelance photographer Nate Hill has become known throughout the NFT community for his twisting, augmented reality landscape photographs. Having offered a unique assortment of “twisted” pieces over the last year, Hill now returns to Nifty Gateway for yet another triumphant drop, this time featuring collaborations with fellow prominent photographers J. N. Silva, Jacob Riglin, Dave Krugman, and more.

Psilo

Why: Psilo is a new large-scale avatar project consisting of three species of unique 3D characters. The collection itself comes as the first part of a multifaceted Sci-Fi story aimed at painting psilocybin in a positive light through metaverse technology. A percentage of proceeds from the Psilo project will be donated to MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelics Studies).

Why: Robert Alice’s Portraits of a Mind started out as a global art project to decentralize Bitcoin’s codebase into 40 fragments (pieces). Having become the first NFT and crypto art project to be exhibited and sold at a major auction house (Christie’s), Alice’s innovative series is now undergoing a new expansion via Nifty Gateway.

Why: Reinhard Schmid is an OG crypto-artist who has continued to establish himself as one of the most interesting and nontraditional artists in the NFT space. Why: Over the last year or so, Grant Yun’s Neo-Precisionist style of crypto-art has continued to stand out among the now saturated NFT market. With his 1/1’s continuing to fetch a pretty penny via SuperRare, Yun will now bring his unique style to Nifty Gateway for the first time in the hopes of making his art more accessible and expanding his collector base.
