VerseFi is a DAO partnered with important brands like Santander bank, [brickken.com](https://brickken.com/) and arkdigitalagency that specialises in the design of monetizable experiences and projects based on the blockchain. We are aiming to create a DAO governed by our $verse token, the dao will be focused on filling the empty metaverses with ambitious projects, our stakeholders can vote to decide the projects that will be built next through a proposal system, you can also spend your $verse tokens to employ the team to build your desired game experience. To join the DAO you must first join a Clan, and to do so you must either borrow or buy a wearable that the specific clan has created and published in our DAPP, once you are inside a clan, your wearables will generate you a passive income each day for the clan community chest. This community chest will be split and spent according to each clan policies, some clan will decide to give all profits to low ranks, or equally divide profits, you must learn more about the clan before buying its wearable. The top clans of the week will gain special rewards for their members.
The holders of our NFT work as a security token, they can choose to stake their NFT to earn $verse tokens, these Verse tokens will not be printed out of thin air but they will be printed from the benefits that the company generates, so in this DAO everyone can become a part-owner with equal rights to everyone. VerseFi is starting its first venture by delivering 8-BitMafiaVerse, a game experience in the Sandbox and Otherside metaverse. This product will be our showcasing product for others to prove that it is possible to tokenize in securities a web3 DAO. The team will prove that by leveraging past years’ advances in on-chain technology and enhanced online communities it is possible to create engaging platforms with broad utility that provide value for all participants whether a player, creator, or stakeholder.
8-bitmafiaverse wouldn’t consist of just one activity but rather an umbrella of different activities that might or not complement each other. The main activity is inspired on a browser-based game called town of salem that challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. These players are aligned into whatever badge they posess from their clan (bought in the marketplace) – Town, Mafia, and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don’t know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder Town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught. People who win these games will earn influence points which can be cashed out for ingame rewards or territorial control, you can control the casino for example, which will give you a % of the casino benefits.
As it’s all set in an open world, the map will be filled with secondary activities (some non-related to the main theme of the game), many of which will be player-created, as anyone will be able to purchase virtual real estate and create their own experiences or businesses inside 8-BitMafiaVerse.
